The bride is the daughter of Sarah and Buddy Bell and Danny Barnes, all of Bridgeton, and the granddaughter of Carlton and Sarah Weatherington of Bridgeton and Ida Mae Rowell of New Bern.
The bridegroom is the son of Pete and Sandy Maher of Belhaven and the grandson of Lucy Maher of Havelock.
The bride was given in marriage by Danny Barnes and Buddy Bell.
Nuptial music was provided by Bryan Grimes.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Grimes of New Bern, sister of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Jaime Sutton of New Bern, Michelle Elks of New Bern, Joanna Armstrong of Bridgeton and Megan Grimes of New Bern.
Brianna Dunn was the flower girl.
The best man was Peter Maher Sr. of Belhaven.
Groomsmen were Terry Elks of New Bern and Matthew Geter of Bridgeton, son of the bride.
Ushers were Kenny Barnes of Bridgeton, brother of the bride, and Michael Maher of New Bern, brother of the groom.
Carson Barnes was the ringbearer.
Assisting with the wedding were Kathy May and Sue Barnes.
A reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held at the home of the bride's parents.
Assisting with the reception were Sarah Bell and Lynn Jones.
The couple took a honeymoon to Atlantic Beach.
The bride attended West Craven High School and is employed by Burger King as a manager.
The bridegroom graduated from New Bern High School and is employed by McGowen's as a mechanic.
They plan to live in Bridgeton.
