Von Behren-Snyder
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Allison Lang Von Behren and Jeffrey David Snyder, both of New Bern, were united in marriage on Aug. 2, 2008, at Christ Episcopal Church with Rev. Mary Frances Curns officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Susan Von Behren of New Bern and the granddaughter of Robert and Susan Lang of Jacksonville and Lee and Cindy Seely of Anamosa, Iowa.
The bridegroom is the son of Warren and Linda Williams of New Bern and David Snyder of Vanceboro and the grandson of Peter and Elaine Meyer of New Bern and Donna Snyder of Vanceboro.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Nuptial music was provided by organist Gen Bolena.
Maid of honor was Shelley Thornton of Raleigh.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Carroll of New Bern, Michelle Heery of Raleigh and Sarah Price of Cary.
Alyssa Price was the flower girl.
The best man was Graham Carroll of New Bern.
Groomsmen were David Snyder of Vanceboro, father of the groom, Warren Williams of New Bern, stepfather of the groom, and Joshua Snyder of New Bern, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Ryland Matthews and Daren Fuller, both of New Bern.
Assisting with the wedding was Cassandra Crowder.
A reception, hosted by the parents of the bride and groom, was held at the Flame Banquet Hall in New Bern.
Assisting with the reception were Judy Thornton, Cherry Walters, Cassandra Crowder, Marilyn Bruggema, and Peter Meyer.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia Sandals Resort.
The bride attends UNC School of Pharmacy.
The bridegroom attends Wake Technical Institute and is a Sergeant in the N.C. National Guard.
They plan to live in Durham.
