The bride is the daughter of the late Daniel Bryant Turnage and Celina C. Turnage of Trenton and the granddaughter of John Crowder of Cover City.
The bridegroom is the son of Sooi and Mai Chong of Malaysia.
Nuptial music was provided by guitarist Will Robbins.
The matron of honor was Maxine Zanfardino of Virginia.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Larter of Washington state and Judy Simpson of North Carolina.
Abigail and Jillian Chong were the flower girls.
The best man was Joseph O'Brien of Florida.
Groomsmen were Joseph Zgonc of Ohio and Wei-Li Chong of Labrador, Canada, brother of the groom.
Assisting with the wedding and reception were Bryant, Derrick and Danielle Turnage, siblings of the bride, Lisa Yagla, Nancy Foscue, Connie Daugherty and Ellen Leroy.
A reception was held at Surf Du Soleil, a beach house in Emerald Isle.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Mexico.
The bride graduated from George Washington University and is employed by the U.S. Department of Education as an education program specialist.
The bridegroom graduated from Emory University and is employed by Bearing Point as a project manager.
They plan to live in Washington, D.C.
