The baby weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
The mother is the former Amy Jean Bloomberg of New Bern.
Grandparents are Charles and Paulette Holt, George Bloomberg and Kelly Bloomberg, all of Craven County.
Great-grandparents are Glenn Holt, Eunice Browning and Millie Bloomberg, all of Craven County.
