* Shannon Price and Amanda Rowe of New Bern announce the birth of a son, Logan Scott Price, on April 26 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The baby weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and was 19 inches long.

Grandparents are Donna and Charles Tharp, Vicky and Ross Ward of Pamlico County, an Earl Price of Shady Grove, Pa.

Great-Grandparents are Martha and Terry Hefflefinger of Rockfalls, Ill. and Ruth Price of Green Castle, Pa.

* Donald R. Murphy Jr. and Amanda L. Jenkins of Pollocksville announce the birth of a daughter, Riley Lane Murphy, on June 24, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The baby weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long.

The mother is the former Amanda Jolly of Vanceboro.

Grandparents are Mike and Linda Harper of Vanceboro, Donald and Maureen Murphy of Pollocksville and Hugh Jolly of Cove City.

Great-Grandparents are Ida Scott of Greenville, Naomi Murphy of Pollocksville and Della Tilghman of Cove City.
