Keith Alan and Toni Michelle Morris of Vanceboro announce the birth a son, Austin Scott, on Sept. 29, 2008, at Craven Regional Medical Center.
The baby weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
The mother is the former Toni Michelle Scott of New Bern.
Grandparents are Thomas and Janice Scott of New Bern and Curtis L. and Myrtle Morris of Vanceboro.
