** Charles and Courtney McDougal of Havelock announce the birth of a daughter, Isabella Diane McDougal, May 26, 2008, at Craven Regional Medical Center.

The baby weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 inches long.

The mother is the former Courtney Wright of Havelock.

Grandparents are Bert Wright of Havelock and Charles and Donna McDougal of Havelock. Great-grandparents are Helen and Oscar Whitehurst of New Bern, Helen and Hillard Wright of Leesville, S.C., and Charles McDougal of Jacksonville.

** Hugh and Ashley Bailey of Raleigh announce the birth of a son, Liam Peeler Bailey, May 14, 2008, at Rex Hospital, Raleigh.

The baby weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

The mother is the former Ashley Peeler of New Bern.

Grandparents are Mary and Richard Peeler and Snook and Sara Bailey, all of New Bern.

** Jeremy Jones and Leigh Ann Jones of Ernul announce the birth of a son, Dawson Lee Jones, June 5, 2008, at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.

The baby weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.

The mother is the former Leigh Ann Lewis of Aurora.

Grandparents are Linwood and Linda Jones of Ernul and Harold and Lynn Lewis of Aurora. Great-grandparents are Martin and Daisy Sutton of Ernul, Joyce Pipkin of Washington, N.C., and Bobby Pipkin of Blounts Creek.
